It's the lenten season in the Philippines and that means long weekend for everyone... Usually, I'm always looking forward to these holidays... sino bang hindi? This gives us a great opportunity to spend some time away from the worries or work, school, etc and focus on bumming around or going on vacation or church and just be with your loved ones. Unfortunately, this year I'm not in holiday and we're not getting away from the worries of the world either. This year means the long weekend will be a major bummer to us since we can't really spend some time alone together, can we?  This is one of  those things I sorely miss. =<

This year is totally different from the other happy years that we had. On our seventh year, we're miles apart. But it still was a happy one for me.

For starters the anniversary this year was a  long day for me. It started on the afternoon of my 17th (early 18th in Manila) and ended on the night of  my 18th (early 19th in Manila). So it was like, we were celebrating for 2 days.

I wasn't expecting anything from him so imagine my surprise when our friend, Khandice, arrived at my doorstep early on the 18th and delivered these...



I was sooooo happy, I think I'm actually teary-eyed while arranging the tulips and displaying it in my apartment. Haaay, I so miss my na2r but these flowers really helped a lot. Can't keep the smile off my face.

This is my romantic bittersweet seventh year story.

Happy. New. Year. These words mean so much more to me this year than just simply greeting another year in my life. For starters, 2008 marks the 7th year of the ena and na2r loveteam. This is really something. And something that I am truly grateful for.

Another milestone this year is the trip which had me so excited, dreadful, happy, sad, thankful, wishful all at the same time. The holiday had been a rollercoaster ride in terms of this trip. But finally, the BIG DAY has come. 14 hours from now, I will be off to unchartered teritories, facing the giants that will be my friends and foe for the next six months.

The opportunities and lessons that I received the past year have been really great. And this year, I don't have any new year's resolution but just these simple wishes.

- That no matter how hard the next six months will be, we will get through this uncharred, tougher and stronger than ever.
- That no matter how big the challenges are, I will get through them and kick some caucasian a$$!. lol!
- That we may have the opportunity to get hitch in VEGAS! bwahahahahaha!

I love my Sony Ericsson W900i but this is just.....huwaw! Na2r has been waiting for it to come out for months that when the N95 8 GB came out two weeks ago, we immediately went to Park Square (sugod kahit may pasabog effect sa glorietta) to buy one for him. Inggit ako sa ganda so bumili din ako after 2 days. nyahahahaha! Now If I could only find a buyer for my W900i.... hmmm hmmmm

And just today, off we went this time to PC Hub Gilmore to get (what I hope to be the last gadget for myself this season) a portable hard drive for me... A 250GB Western Digital Passport Portable hard drive, with which I'll put all the jdoramas I plan to watch during that 6 months of cold winter next year hehehehehe.

I haven't really thought about this whole overseas thingie thing until last week. I'm happy that I got to have this opportunity and that out of 30 people, I was picked to do this. With that I am grateful. I know many things can happen and things are not entirely sure yet (maybe around 95% sure, yes) but last week when our american boss came here and he talked to us about the program, I had a sudden realization that this is it. That this really is happening.

I'm now excited with what can happen. I'm so so so much grateful to be given this opportunity. I know I have to do good (or else I'm choked! haha).

But there's just one thing that murks all this.

The scary fact is it's THAT long. And I'm gonna miss so many happy moments. Our 7th year. Pau, Rog, Bevs, Moe, Mommy Glo, Tet, Elg, Nanie Susan, Joey's birthdays. Aileen and Joey's graduation. Ac and my birthday. as in MY birthday. OUR 7th year. That's like, the biggest bummer thus far.

For 7 years the longest na2r and I were apart was for almost a month when I went home to Zamboanga. The greatest gift and blessing that we have in our relationship is TIME. So imagine how this just suck. :S

Sometimes, I'm not sure what to do. I know this is temporary and that eventually everything is for the better. All I have to do and think is that this will help us in our future and this will be a good experience. haha!

It's going to be a long winter. lolz

demmet!!! I'm the type who's so lazy to update my CV but because I really need it for this thing I had to do at work, I dragged my lazy a$$ and updated the company CV using this online tool. I'm almost done with the updates, just typing in some more of the trainings that I've completed over the past 2 years (yes, I haven't updated it in 2 years) and then the site just errored out on me. As in, I cannot access the site again and I'm not even sure if all the updates that I've made in the past hour were saved!!!! gaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! Now I have to go to the office early tomorrow to be able to submit it to my manager in the morning. holy @#$#$%!@#

I hate updating CVs.

I just realized I haven't visited most of the Visayas region yet. Mostly my travels are concentrated in the Luzon or Mindanao provinces. Now my goal would be to visit Visayas soon... CEBU/Bohol here i come!!! nyahahaha!

It was fun taking this test though. Hopefully i get to increase my grade over the years.... ^___^

I'm at an emotional crossroads these days. I'm excited about some developments about work which will be soooo much fun when that happens but at the same time, I'm seriously doubting myself if I will be able to live up to their expectations. Man, I'm such a worry wart , confused a$$hole. lolz..

I know I've got the power. But what if it's just kili-kili power? whattda! huh? huwaaaat?? If I get that corny and lame, I guess i'm in a real serious problem right now.

gawd. how boring can life be. i've been so used to spending my weekends watching music station for some months now that this news really blew me away. this week was the start of my MS fasting. i don't know why they [temporarily] stopped showing music station in animax this november, but it sucked. is it because they don't have new material to show? i'm fine with re-runs of the show really, especially if they replay arashi, YUI, orange range and even funky monkey babys over and over... *_* so why did they do it? i dunno. and i guess i wont care as much as long as they get it back next month. a [fan]girl can never get enough of jpop in her life, you know. ^_^

P.S. good thing amazing race asia is coming this november, at least i've something to take my mind off missing music station. hihi.
